Anything that sounds good.  I don’t care if it’s not fashionable.  I’m not afraid to say that I did have Jason and Kylie in my vinyl collection!  Come on – they did record some catchy tunes……….. What is your favourite song? Suspicious Minds – Elvis Presley Tell us an unusual fact about yourself? I won a Shakin’ Stevens dancing competition at my Junior School disco.  The DJ who presented me with my prize of a packet of Salt ‘n’ Vinegar crisps was none other than Des Barber!!! Who would you most like to meet?  I can’t anymore as it would have been Elvis Presley.  Nowadays, I suppose it would be Robbie Williams. Most embarrassing moment? Oh I have many!!  One that springs to mind is Des Barber asking me to help present at a road show in East Carlton Park.  He called me over and asked me to take hold of the mic. An Elvis backing track came on, and I had no option but to sing in the middle of a field with bemused people looking on.  I will get my own back! What is your favourite TV show? 24 What is your favourite Film? It’s A Wonderful Life starring James Stewart and Donna Reed. What is the funniest thing that ever happened to you? On my first driving test I pulled behind a car as I waited to turn left at a junction.  I waited, and waited……. The examiner then said, “Mr. Byrne, the car in front of you is parked.” How did you first become involved with Radio? I was introduced by a friend.  Des then gave me my big break…….. Favourite food and drink? Toast with Marmite accompanied by a lovely cup of Bruce Lee.
