Work's begun on refurbishing Neville House in Corby town centre.

The borough council and partners have marked the start of a project to develop twelve two-bed maisonettes that  CBC say will have affordable rents.

£1.5 million is being spent on the plan -  the funding is coming from Right to Buy receipts.

While the bottom of the building has shops and restuarants other floors need repairs and further work if they are to be safe to live in.

The aim is to complete the work by next summer.
