A Corby homelessness cause has thanked the people of the town for their support which helped them secure major funding.
Nightlight were entered into Jewson Builders' scheme to award funds to projects which needed building renovation. After an online vote judges have awarded the Corby cause £10,000.
It will go towards work on their new premises in the town centre - which is being designed to help rough sleepers in the short-term but also with a view to providing long-term solutions for those affected by homelessness.
In addition Nightlight's leaders have made an appeal for volunteers to become involved in the months ahead.
Two recruitment events have been planned for later this month in the town at the Hazel Tree pub - the next being on Wednesday July 26 from 7:30pm.
