The group that buys and plans health services for Corby say they face the loss of some £3.5m in this financial year - and that it could mean certain services are cut.

NHS Corby CCG say it's the amount they believe they will have to pay the operator of the Urgent Care Centre following the results of an "expert determination". It adjudged NHS Corby had not paid enough for the service in recent years.

At a meeting of its governing body this week NHS Corby representatives said they were continuing to try and work towards a solution over the future of the centre, where the current operator's contract runs out on September 30.

They say a public consultation on health services in Corby will follow later this year.
