Police investigating the sexual assault of a woman in Corby earlier this month have made a fresh appeal.

They have urged a taxi driver who may have given the woman a lift to contact them and are also trying to locate a woman and two men who may have more information.

A woman was assaulted in a small grassed park area, at the junction of Pen Green  Lane and Rockingham Road, sometime between 4 am and 5am on the morning of Saturday September 9th. It's understood another woman and two men walked past the area around the time of the incident.

Anyone with more details is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
