A new public-facing police enquiry desk has opened in the Corby Cube.
Open to the public since Wednesday ( Dec 20 ), it replaces the enquiry desk at the Elizabeth Street station which has now closed.
All enquiries from the public, including reporting crime and producing driving documents, will be made at The Cube. The new office will be open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
County police said having the desk in the Cube would make it easier for people to get additional help if they were having problems with noisy neighbours or housing issues.
They added that while fewer people now visit a police station in person, instead reporting online or by phone, it was still important for people to deal with the police face to face in an accessible location.
