Network Rail say the next stages of work on the Kettering to Corby rail line will see passenger services suspended for a week.
There will be no service by rail between the towns over the 17th to the 25th of February. Instead there will be a replacement bus service.
It's as testing begins on newly fitted equipment on the line, with engineers needing a nine day period of "wheels free" access to the railway.
Network Rail claim passengers will see the benefit of the upgrade work soon.
So far twelve kilometers of new track has been laid as work continues on providing a second track between Kettering and Corby.
