An Armed Forces Covenant support website has been launched locally.

The Armed Forces Covenant Northamptonshire website gives the local armed forces community – from serving troops and veterans to new recruits and their families – access to online resources and support services.

Information about support groups, mental health services, healthcare, finance, accommodation and employment opportunities are available including details of services for those transitioning into civilian life.

The web address is www.afcnorthamptonshire.co.uk

An estimated 65,000 people are living in Northamptonshire who serve, or have served in the armed forces are set to benefit from the service.

The website is being funded by Ministry of Defence (MOD) and delivered by Northamptonshire County Council’s web team.

The Armed Forces Covenant Northamptonshire is a voluntary partnership of local organisations to ensure those who serve, or have served in the armed forces are supported in their community.
