The Steelmen's Easter Monday game with Stamford was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and has been re-arranged for Wednesday April 11 ( 7:45pm ).

Before then Corby Town play a league game at Carlton Town this Thursday evening ( 7.45pm ) and host Chasetown this Saturday ( 3.00pm ).

Football, Evo-Stik South: Leek Town 6-1 Corby Town ( Leslie ). The Steelmen were 4-0 down by half-time as a tough week of games took its toll. Following the game Corby Town's chairman Steve Noble said Steve Kinniburgh will become manager on a permanent basis, rolling into next season. Boxing: Corby's Simon Barclay went the distance with champion Bilal Laggoune in their IBF Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title fight in Belgium on Friday evening. The judges all went for Laggoune by 116-112 after 12 rounds. Barclay says he enjoyed the experience with praise for his performance from fans online.

Mar 30 - Corby Town have won twice in the space of four days in the Evo Stik South division.

On Monday evening Kidsgrove were beaten 3-1 at Steel Park thanks to goals from Jake Bettles and Jordon Crawford ( 2, 1 pen ).

The Steelmen followed that up by winning 4-1 at Cleethorpes on Thursday evening with goals from Steven Leslie, Jake Bettles, Sam Warburton and Phil Trainer.

The results put Corby Town five points off the play-off places in the division ahead of games away to Leek Town on Saturday ( Mar 31 ) and at home to Stamford on Easter Monday ( Apr 2 ).

On Tuesday evening Stewarts & Lloyds FC fought back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Harrowby in UCL Division One. They host Irchester on Saturday.
