Corby Town lost their Emirates FA Cup tie at Stockport on October 6 3-0, all the goals arriving in the second half. Some 200 Corby fans joined a crowd at Stockport of nearly 2,000.

In Rugby Union Stewarts and Lloyds first team are up to fourth in their regional division after winning 26-9 at Long Buckby.

Corby Town made progress in the FA Trophy on September 29 with a 3-1 win at Bromsgrove Sporting.

Elliot Sandy, Joel Carta with a penalty and Connor Kennedy were the men on target for Steve Kinniburgh's side.

The win followed their 4-1 success at Alvechurch on September 22 in the FA Cup - the Steelmen now play at Stockport County in the next round of the Cup on October 6, and at home to Yaxley in the Trophy on October 13.

In the FA Cup on September 8, Corby Town defeated Hertford Town 2-0 to progress to the second qualifying round on September 22, when Steve Kinniburgh's team will be away to Alvechurch.

On September 12, a changed Steelmen side lost 3-2 at home to Peterborough Sports in the Southern League Cup Preliminary Round.

Corby's next game is at North Leigh in the Southern League Division One Central on Saturday September 15. ( 3pm ).

Corby Town won their league match at North Leigh on September 15 8-1.

Jordan Crawford, Ben Bradshaw and Elliott Sandy all scored twice - the Steelmen are still unbeaten so far in the Southern League Divison One Central.

They play at Wellingborough Whitworth in the Hillier Senior Cup on September 18 and then at Alvechurch in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round on September 22.

Corby Town continued their unbeaten run at the start of September.

AFC Dunstable were beaten 2-1 in a league game at Steel Park - Corby fell 1-0 behind before AFC had a player sent off and the Steelmen struck goals through Jake Bettles and an Elliot Sandy penalty.

In an FA Cup replay at Dunstable Town, midfielder Ben Bradshaw scored twice as the Steelmen won through 4-0.

They now face Hertford Town at Steel Park in the first qualifying round on Saturday ( Sep 8 ).
