Corby Town suffered a poor reversal as they lost their league encounter at Loughborough Dynamo 4-3.
The Steelmen had led 3-0 after two goals from Paul Malone and one from Jason Lee, but the Leicestershire outfit staged a comeback.
S & L FC lost 4-1 at Olney Town in UCL Division One, while S & L rugby union side lost 25-10 at home to Luton.
Steelmen bounce back
After a late goal against them saw them draw 2-2 in the league in midweek, Corby Town recorded a victory in Saturday's Evo-Stik South match at Market Drayton Town.
Connor Kennedy of Corby was sent off early in the game for a late challenge and the Shropshire side were 1-0 up by half-time. In the second half David Bell's side rallied with goals from sub Ben Diamond and Lee Beeson to claim the three points 2-1.
In UCL Divison One S & L lost 2-1 at home to Lutterworth Athletic.
The season of club cricket locally also concluded on Saturday - Great Oakley finished 6th in Northants Division Three, Weldon won the Divison Four title and Stewarts & Lloyds were 3rd in Division Five, missing out on promotion by a place.
Corby Town went out of the Integro League Cup on Wednesday ( Sep 6 ) after a game packed full of goals.
Steven Leslie of the Steelmen scored three and David Bell's side seemed set for the win at Lincoln United until a stoppage-time equaliser made it 4-4.

On Tuesday S&L Corby lost 3-0 at home to Long Buckby in a league game. In Womens Football Corby Town defeated S&L 2-0 in a league game at Steel Park on Wednesday.

Corby Town went down to another league defeat despite getting the ball in numerous attacking areas, according to our reporter.
Newcastle Town won 1-0 at Steel Park with a penalty in the first half. The Steelmen are now 17th in their divison ahead of the visit of Peterborough Sports on Wednesday ( Sep 13 ).
S & L Corby went out of the FA Vase losing 6-1 at home to Swaffham Town. S & L rugby union side's first league game of the season was a 19-12 reverse at Long Buckby.
Steelmen salvage point
Jordan O'Brien was on target for Corby Town late in their league game with Sheffield FC on Saturday ( Sep 2 ).
His finish in stoppage time meant the final score was 1-1 after the "The Oldest" had taken the lead from a penalty given for handball.
Corby Town now have four points from five league outings so far.
But it was another division defeat for S & L Corby as Melton Town won 3-0.
