Each local community radio station in the UK has requirements to deliver social gain and benefit the local community it serves. These requirements are set out by the government regulator Ofcom by whom we are and will be regulated.
News Bulletin Schedule
Corby Radio provides news bulletins 24 hours a day; during daytime weekday hours we aim to provide hourly local news bulletins along side mixed National and World news bulletins from Sky News Radio/IRN. We aim to provide a re-cap of local stories featured on-air in the previous week in bulletins broadcast on Sundays.

We sometimes use computer technology to automate certain programmes, such as overnights. We are proud to say that all of our daytime programming (7am – 6pm) is live from our studios in Corby Town Centre. Our evening schedule (6pm – midnight) is a mix of live and automated programmes. At weekends the vast majority of our programming is live from 7am until 10pm.
Amount of Local Programming
The vast majority of our programming is produced and presented from our studios in Corby Town Centre, unless of course we are out and about on our Roadshow Bus. Some shows, such as The Jukebox Drive-in are produced at other studios.
